Ontario apple picking season is a sure sign that Fall is just around the corner.
If you want me to do something for you (within reason), all you need to do is place a serving of warm apple crisp with a scoop of vanilla or Pralines ‘n Cream ice cream in front of me.
I LOVE APPLE DESSERTS!
I can’t tell you how much I love apple pies, crisps, tarts, cobblers… and apple coffee cakes. I even love to add chunky apple sauce to meats for a touch of tart sweetness.
I’m also trying to eat an apple a day (or at least every other day) to keep the doctor away.
So I’m happy at this time of the year, when fresh-picked apples are in season. We’ll be heading to an orchard for some pick-your-own apples in the next few weeks.

Happy apple picking!
