My 2013 Colour in Photo Challenge: March Results

What a difference a month makes! With a bit of effort and a few day trips, I was able to capture more colourful photos in March for my 2013 colour in photo challenge.

I set this project for myself with the hopes of changing my tendencies to shoot drab landscapes. While I didn’t move far from the landscape, I did capture flashes of colour. Sometimes it was only one colour that I targeted.  Unfortunately, March still means the world around us in Southern Ontario is still pretty drab when it comes to nature’s palette. I did my best.

Here are the results:

The crystal clear blue sky contrasts with the dark colours of the trees and the white snow in this countryside photo I took with my iPhone out of a moving car.

The red barn at Morningstar Mill just west of Thorold, Ontario
