Last summer, while driving on a quiet side-road we found an Elk Farm near Mono Hills, just north of Toronto. Stopping a distance away we had the opportunity to take a few photos with our zoom lenses.
We didn’t want to spook them, but they seemed to be used to people.
I like how most were just not into us, with the exception of the brave elk on the left, staring right at us. I think he must have been thinking that we were crazy city folk.
How often do you see such beautiful animals on a farm? Very rarely when driving around Ontario country roads. This was a special treat for us.
