Meet Margaret

Welcome! I’m a 40+ Gen-X blogger who took a career in marketing and PR, and layered in a blogging hobby to become a sidehustling blog coach.

This is officially a Gen-X lifestyle blog!

It’s taken me a while to start enjoying my life on my own terms. I’ve learned many things along the way that I love sharing with others.

I’ve been blogging for over 14 years – first as a hobby, and now with a blog coaching business.

Aside from my occasional post on Suburban Tourist, I run Margaret Bourne, a blogging blog where I share tips on how to start or grow a blog into a successful online business. I offer blog coaching, blog audit and other services that help make the blogging journey easier and more fun!

When I’m not blogging or running my business, I’m cooking up something delicious for my husband and son, or burning off those calories doing home DIY projects or hiking.
