Protecting Your Skin In Winter With Crawford Street Skincare Products
In the winter, I take the time to pamper my skin. Recently, I’ve been doing so with Crawford Street skincare products, made with natural ingredients.
Like many other Canadians, I dread dry, cold winter days. Furnaces mean low humidity levels in the house. Cold winds chap exposed skin. Daily chores, like washing dishes, dry out hands and fingers even more. As a result, I use skincare products to keep my skin in decent shape.
But isn’t it so much better when the products you use are natural and smell so nice?

Skincare Products Made with Natural Ingredients
Crawford Street Skin Care is a line of natural skincare products, made in Toronto, Canada. The company has been around since 2010, producing luxurious products with natural ingredients.
The brand uses ingredients that have been used for millennia to protect skin and keep it supple, such as avocado oil, Calendula oil or almond oil. Scents such as Frankincense, sandalwood or lemon don’t overpower but add a pleasing aroma when applied to your skin. These ingredients also do wonders for your skin.
I recently received a few product samples to try out. Knowing that my face and hands received the brunt of winter skincare woes, Crawford Street sent me a lovely package to check out.

Lime Bergamot Natural Lip Balm
A smooth lip balm with hemp seed butter and jojoba oil. It glides on and stays on for over an hour, keeping lips soft. No strange tastes. You feel like you have something natural on your lips.
Frankincense Hand Cream (60 ml – 120 ml)
My favourite of all the products I tried out. I’ve been using the hand cream a couple times a day, particularly on trouble spots.
I’m noticing a difference as my skin isn’t as scaly. The best time to put the cream on is after a bath/shower or when your hands are a touch damp.
Restorative Beauty Balm (30 ml – 50 ml)
Use this sparingly. This balm, with Frankincense, geranium and roeship, is caked but oily.
It helps moisture and rejuvenate your skin, so I use it on the flaky dry skin around my eyebrows at bedtime. It works wonders at keeping the dryness at bay.
The ingredients are known to protect against aging.
Hydrating Body Oil (100 ml)
Lightly scented with sandalwood and bergamot, it leaves my skin soft and lightly shining.
I use this after a shower or bath to smooth onto my skin. Dab it on a cotton ball to spread over your skin without too much mess.

Hello Margaret
Thank you for your tips. I have rosacea as well and my skin at the moment is terrible. Would you recommend the putty? I’m using a Px cream but can only use it at night and I’d like to try something during the day as well. Please let me know if you have a minute.
Thank you. Anne
It worked to reduce the dryness on my skin from the tiny raised bumps I’m dealing with. It’s not overly greasy so it made my skin feel smoother. I still watch not having alcohol or touching my face to cause the redness to flare up but overall it did help.
