The South Korean skincare brand, FRANZ, has been making an entrance into the luxury skincare products in the North American market. Now, the men’s line is finding its way into Canada as well. So we were very happy to have my husband Frank do a FRANZ Homme Men’s Dual Mask review, with a skincare product designed for men’s skin.
Why was my husband so happy to try it out? Because dealing with a demanding job, commuting to Toronto and time spent inside an office building can wreak havoc on one’s skin. Even men deserve to have great-looking skin, especially as they get older.
In the past few years, interest and use of men’s skincare have skyrocketed. A 2018 Mintel survey found that two-thirds of men said they use some form of skincare. That’s a big jump from what men were using in their daily routines in the decades before.
In recent years Korean skincare products, which are some of the best in the world, have made their way into the North American market. So I was very curious to see how these masks would work on my husband’s skin.

FRANZ Homme Men’s Dual Mask System (2 Weeks): The Details
For this Franz Homme Men’s Dual Mask review, we received the full two-week product pack. You use one, and then the next week, use the second set.
Each set in the Franz Homme Men’s Dual Mask product has two masks: the “Enriching Mask” which you place on your face first, and the “Empowering Mask”, which you place on top of the first.
The Franz dual masks are meant to be super energizing and make skin glow due to hyaluronic acid that penetrates the skin, nourishing it. It’s a lightweight serum made for men’s skin.
The masks contain:
- Eight types of Hyaluronic Acids
- Four types of peptides
- Sebum control complex
All of this helps to hydrate, firm and clear men’s skin, with the Hyaluronic Acids helping in reducing fine wrinkles.
As for skin types, the masks are formulated to work with any skin type.
You get two mask sets to use over a span of two weeks to give your skin a huge nourishing boost.
My Husband’s Experience: Frank’s FRANZ Homme Men’s Dual Masks Review
Trying it for the first time, after washing his face and patting it dry, my husband followed the instructions carefully. There are several steps in the process. He placed the first mask – the Enriching Mask – on the contours of his face.
Then he put the “Boosting Essence” on the Empowering Mask, as per the instructions and smoothed it over top of the first mask.
For 25 minutes, to our son’s delight, my husband looked a bit like a mummy. See? He was willing to be silly-looking for this FRANZ Homme Men’s Dual Mask review.
He decided to chill out and relax with the mask on. He was so relaxed, he almost fell asleep!
The Verdict
When the time was up, he removed both masks, massaged the remaining liquid into his skin and washed it with lukewarm water. Gently patting his face dry, he was surprised how fresh his skin felt.
As an observer, I noticed his skin did look like it was glowing. It looked refreshed and somewhat tauter. An hour later it still looked better than before.
My husband noted that it felt “fresher, and tauter” – like as if he had a barbershop experience without the hot cloth.
A week later, he did the mask again and noticed it really made his skin feel great. So for anybody who exposes their skin to dry, dirty environments, the mask is like going to a spa… without paying the exorbitant spa prices.
So my husband’s feedback of the FRANZ Homme Men’s Dual Mask is: two thumbs up!
