Since I did my first FEY Cosmetics review last winter, I’ve really fallen in love with this Canadian organic skincare brand. So when they reached out to me check out new FEY Cosmetics products and to do a FEY X2 Dual-Action Exfoliating Mask review and a FEY Perle Day Cream review, I was very happy to do so.
As a Canadian, I LOVE supporting amazing native brands. FEY Cosmetics is one of these great Canadian brands. When it comes to skincare, their products are top-notch, organic and well-formulated. And they truly do work.
So let’s look at these two, new cruelty-free, vegan and organic new FEY Cosmetics skincare products and my experience with both.

FEY Cosmetics X2 Dual-Action Exfoliating Mask Review
With the winter weather and indoor living wreaking havoc on my skin, it was a perfect time to do a bit of exfoliating.

My skin can get very dry in the winter, but it’s sensitive, so it’s always a balancing act. I needed something that would leave it nourished and soft.

The FEY X2 Dual-Action Exfoliating Mask is:
- Vegan and organic
- A face scrub and peeling mask powered by bio enzymes
- Super gentle on skin, including sensitive skin: it uses fruit-based enzymes and a “smooth mechanical treatment” with extra-fine natural particles for the scrub.
- Full of natural AHA’s from papaya extracts, making it good for all skin types
The FEY X2 Dual-Action Exfoliating Mask is the first thing I would use in my skincare regime every few days as it provides a deep cleaning leaving my face clean and ready for serums and moisturizers.

My Experience Using The X2 Dual-Action Mask
This is one of the best new FEY Cosmetics products to be launched.
The first time I used the FEY X2 Dual-Action Exfoliating Mask, I hadn’t done a good exfoliating for about two weeks. It was early January and we had enough chilly winter days that left my skin a bit dry in spots. It just felt dirty on a microscopic level.
A few things I really loved about this product:
- It smells LOVELY and fresh – I can tell that botanicals and fruits were used as part of the ingredients.
- Putting it on it goes on nice and smooth. The natural exfoliant it so tiny that you don’t feel any grit with other harsher exfoliants.
- Once it’s off your skin does feel refreshed
- It didn’t aggravate my rosacea too much – a big win!
After using it, I applied a bit of the FEY Fusion serum and then tried FEY Perle Day Cream.

Two things that I always look for in a day cream:
- It’s lightweight and works throughout the day keeping my skin soft but not greasy.
- Some day creams also irritate my skin with too many harsh chemicals. FEY Perle Cream does not do so while leaving my skin soft and not overly shiny from grease.
FEY Perle Day Cream is:
- A blend of FEY’s signature hyaluronic acid, Chinese pearl extract, and nourishing oils
- Full of antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K: all working to make skin rejuvenated, glowing and plumper.
- Great at smoothing wrinkles, increasing skin elasticity and cell regeneration due to ingredients such as Sacha Inchi and Pearl extract
- Good for increasing microcirculation in the skin, a benefit of the Pearl extract

My Experience Using The Perle Cream
My first impressions were that like the exfoliant, the scent is delightful. It’s not stinky!
The second thing I noticed is that it kept my skin feeling moisturized throughout the day without that greasy feeling after a few hours.
Even after the first use, my skin was soft and smooth feeling. I LOVE THIS! After a few days of use, I had a much more moisturized skin on my face. It’s light enough to use year-round. And I love how it works with all skin types.
All you need is a small dab. A little goes a long way.

Would I purchase these new FEY Cosmetics products again? Most definitely yes. I would probably even purchase the Perle Cream to give my mom and mother-in-law for a birthday/ Mother’s Day gift. It’s luxury skincare at its best.

My morning routine consists of washing with orange blossom face wash and putting a few drops of frankincense into my moisturizer before makeup. Easy breezy. 😄💜

My morning skincare routine is wash with Kiehls, Sunday Riley vitamin c serum, kiehls undereye cream, Sunday Riley lactic acid treatment, Elta MD sunscreen, THEN makeup. Sigh 😂😂

I don’t really have a morning skin care routine but this is making me think about starting one and these products sounds great!
