By the end of April, I will officially need to change Suburban Tourist to the plural Suburban Tourists. Frank, my fantastic husband-to-be, has been my fellow adventurer over the past two years and will soon be my permanent traveller through life.
And I can’t wait to experience where life will lead us!
Taking a look through my collection of photos from the past two years, there are so many places Frank and I have visited together in Ontario. I’ve seen more of the province with him at my side than ever before.
From hiking trails to touristy spots like Niagara Falls, and from fine restaurants to campfires at provincial parks, we’ve travelled, hiked, window-shopped and dined together.
While I might be the main writer for this blog, Frank is my guy with the great ideas. For his input and support I’m ever so grateful! And of course, for being such a great model for the numerous photos I’ve taken over the past two years.

Exploring the debris on the beach at Port Burwell – Summer 2010. Frank found coal and a jaw bone from what looked to be a raccoon.
Frank has no fear of dank, dark and small spaces. I’m clausterphobic. Here he is exploring the caves at Rockwood Conservation Area.
Gazing off at Georgian Bay at Killbear Provincial Park – Summer 2010
“St. Francis” feeding a chickadee at Hendrie Valley. He loves animals and they love him back.
Frank paddles while I snap photos during an early morning on the Petawawa River – he’s a trooper with the sun shining in his eyes.
